Our Projects

Caparica Films is a home grown media development company based in Lisbon, Portugal.

We create and develop both fiction and non fiction stories that are inspired by local, national and international events with a view of showing them to an international audience.

The goal is to encourage foreign producers to collaborate and combine with local talent. Enabling a more sustainable and exciting film industry that reaches far beyond Portuguese shores.

It is the true story of Jaime Giménez Arbe a.k.a “El Solitario”, the former Spanish public enemy number one. He was arrested in Portugal in 2007 after robbing thirty six banks single handedly in Spain over a fifteen year period. It has been the biggest media story in both Spain and Portugal within recent memory.

The writer is in the unique position to have the fully authorised permission and complete trust of Sr. Jaime Gimenez Arbe to tell his life as a film or series.
